Most people in South Korea think owning a car is important - A1

A survey of 1,000 drivers found that 84% of them believe a car is essential.

South Korea has a good public transport system, but many people still prefer to own a car.

In 2022, there were more than 25 million registered vehicles in the country.

Recent data shows that South Koreans are buying larger cars than they were 10 years ago.

This is despite the problems people have finding parking spaces for larger cars in South Korean cities.
