A Trip with Sam - Vowel Practice

Last week, Sam planned a short trip by ship.He didn’t want a long ride, just a fast one.

Sam wore his blue cap and packed a small bag.He sat on his favorite seat and took a deep breath.“This is better than a sheep farm,” he said with a smile.

On the way, Sam saw a man with a red cape.“Is he a hero?” Sam laughed.The man said, “No, I just hate the cold, so I wear my coat like this!”

Sam bit into a sweet peach and looked at the beat of the waves.He felt calm, full, and free.

Later, Sam met a girl who was also on the ship.She said, “I love to travel when the sea is smooth.”They sat and talked until the sun went down.

When the trip ended, Sam said goodbye and got off the ship.“Best day ever,” he said. “No drama. Just sun, sea, and good vibes.”
