Soccer player Ryan Kent is looking for a babysitter for his crocodiles. The 26-year-old, who currently plays for Turkish club Fenerbahçe, is offering good money to the right person, according to reports in Turkey.
Kent is believed to be very interested in wild animals. While he was playing in Scotland for Rangers, he was also said to have bought one of his teammates a small snake as a Christmas present.
It is not known how big Kent's crocodiles are, but some of the crocodiles that are popular as pets can grow to more than 2 meters in length. The animals can live for 40 years — and sometimes as long as 100!
Kent's search for a crocodile babysitter has sparked a lot of interest on social media. Some people have joked that they would be happy to take on the job, while others have expressed concern about the safety of the crocodiles and the babysitter.
One Twitter user wrote: "I'm not sure I'm qualified to babysit crocodiles, but I'm willing to give it a shot. After all, I've babysat kids before, and they can be pretty wild too."
Another Twitter user wrote: "I'm concerned about the safety of both the crocodiles and the babysitter. Crocodiles are dangerous animals, and even the most experienced babysitter could be at risk."
It remains to be seen who Kent will choose to babysit his crocodiles. But one thing is for sure: the job will not be easy.
